Max Chan, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Avnet
Max serves as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Avnet, where he leads the company’s global information technology strategy, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and systems integration initiatives. Since joining Avnet in 2013, Max has held key leadership roles across Asia Pacific and global operations, driving enterprise technology innovation and operational excellence. Appointed CIO in 2019, he has focused on advancing Avnet as a digital-first organization. Prior to Avnet, Max held senior IT leadership positions at VF Corporation and Johnson Controls. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Malaya and an MBA from the University of Birmingham.

Her professional experience includes work across insurance, consulting, and technology industries. She is passionate about developing AI and analytics literacy, helping professionals and organizations build the skills needed to adapt, innovate, and succeed in an increasingly technology-driven business environment.
Michael Cheung,Founding Partner, Head of Quantitative Research & Portfolio Manager, Redwood Investment Management
Michael is a Founding Partner, Head of Quantitative Research, and Portfolio Manager at Redwood Investment Management, where he leads the development and implementation of quantitative, algorithmic, and deep learning-based investment systems. With more than 15 years of investment experience, Michael specializes in applying advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology-driven strategies to enhance portfolio construction and risk management. He plays a key role in advancing Redwood’s innovation initiatives, leveraging data science, automation, and scalable infrastructure to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. Melissa Ho, Deputy General Counsel & Director of Compliance, Cavco Industries, Inc.
Melissa serves as Deputy General Counsel and Director of Compliance at Cavco Industries, Inc., one of the nation’s largest manufactured housing companies. In her role, she oversees legal and compliance initiatives while helping organizations navigate complex regulatory environments. Prior to joining Cavco, Melissa served as head of regulatory matters for a global semiconductor company, advising on compliance frameworks, government-facing issues, and business operations. A lifelong Arizonan, Melissa is deeply committed to mentorship, community service, and supporting the continued growth of Arizona’s professional and legal communities.
Heather Yan, Marketing and Hospitality Leader, Choice Hotels
Heather is a marketing and hospitality leader at Choice Hotels with more than 10 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, local marketing, and customer engagement strategies that drive business growth. She holds an MBA from the University of Washington and is the founder of Urban Lion Rock, a digital marketing and AI consulting agency, as well as Auri Pointe Language Academy, an education venture focused on language learning and cultural connection. Passionate about the intersection of AI, marketing, and leadership, Heather helps organizations adopt emerging technologies to improve productivity, enhance efficiency, and make smarter business decisions.
